Das Bild konnte nicht ermittelt werden. Godron nannte das Bild in seiner Korrespondenz wechselnd „Giovannina“ oder „Giovaña“, die Schreibung „Giovanna“ stammt von Gustav F. Hartlaub, nicht vom Künstler. Die Abmaße des Bildes waren laut einem Brief Godrons an Gustav F. Hartlaub 100 x 67 cm ohne Rahmen.
